Anssol is a combination of salicylic acid and azelaic acid.
Salicylic acid reduces the cohesion of keratocytes causing dead and damaged cells to slough off. It penetrates deeper into sebum-filled follicles, clearing clogged pores. Salicylic acid has been used effectively to treat acne.
Azelaic acid favors the redefined and disturbed keratinization of the follicles with bacteriostatic action. Azelaic acid reduces inflammation and inhibits the action of tyrosinase in the melanogenesis process.
Azelaic acid has antioxidant properties by binding free oxygen radicals. Ideal for rosacea treatments.
